Crop Progress Report

This report automated a manual process that previously took an employee 4 hours to complete each week. By connecting Microsoft Power BI directly to the USDA Quickstats API, I was able to configure the report to automatically ingest the necessary data and update itself weekly. For each crop, a state-level choropleth as well as a detail table are generated. This report is sent weekly to the WinField United sales and marketing teams during the growing season to provide them with an idea of where they should be for sales relative to crop progress. The page backgrounds were designed in Adobe Photoshop to align with the WinField United brand.
